Are you already all decorated for Christmas? Starting to shop? In the Christmas spirit?

Or are you just going through the motions to get to 2021?!?

I was in the camp that I just wanted Christmas to come so the year would be over! It has been rough. So many unknowns. I run into scared, rude people every time I leave my home.

As I started getting into my decorations and ornaments, though, with my favorite Christmas album playing, I can say I can’t wait! The spirit of Christmas has really kicked in.

Protecting Yourself This Holiday Season

The holidays can feel threatening in many ways. You may feel the desire to put on a coat of armor and build a wall around your loved ones. Maybe your in-laws will be extra critical at family gatherings. Maybe your sister will make comments about the way you look or your Aunt Lolly will making cutting remarks about your parenting skills.

When people are together, hurt is possible and probable.
