Everyone Seems to be Getting Sick
Does it seem like everyone around you is getting sick as we head into fall?
Here are some empowering tips to avoid feeling like a sitting duck this fall as we enter “sick season”. You can be proactive with you and your family’s health with a few quick tips:
Put good in.
Our bodies have incredible immune systems and putting good in supports our body’s ability to fight. Use real foods to lower inflammation. If you have a picky eater, consider supplementation with the best quality vitamins your children will consume. (We love the Mary Ruth’s brand!)
Keep bad out.
If you are concerned about your kids and germ season (daycare, college, school, etc), lower your sugar and processed food intake. Keep the fake food out of the house for a time.
Be onguard.
Use this proprietary doTERRA blend of cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, rosemary, and wild orange. These oils are like little warriors that go into your body and protect you at the cellular level. These oils have antiviral and antibacterial properties that you can diffuse which allows you to breathe in these molecules. Here’s the best way to be OnGuard:
1. Get the oils in you: either by diffusing them strategically throughout your home and breathing them in, or taking them in a vegetable capsule and swallowing it (yes, doTERRA’s essential oils are pure and safe to ingest). Then if you need to beef up your system, you can keep OnGuard beadlets or OnGuard+ on hand for extra support.
2. Get the oils on you: throw away the fun smelly soaps that aren’t serving you and get a plain soap base (such as Dr. Bonners) and add OnGuard oil! Then get the OnGuard rollerball and roll it on spines and feet before school, after school, and before bedtime.
3. Get the oils around you: diffuse diffuse diffuse!
Remember, you can be prepared not scared when it comes to this time of year!
Take care, be well.
