Why were frankincense and myrrh brought to the Baby Jesus?!? Oils of the Bible

Sit in front of your Christmas tree with a cup of tea or hot cocoa and just sit! Soak up all of the goodness that the Bible has for you this holiday season!

I had grown up listening in Sunday school class that frankincense and myrrh were brought to baby Jesus in the Christmas nativity story. It wasn’t until I started using essential oils in 2013, though, that I began to understand why! I fell in love with aromatic compounds (that’s what essential oils are) and all the different plants that have essential oils. They each do something different in the body. The provision of them by God has been something that has been a passion of mine for all of these years. So I'm gonna go into the scripture, the holy Bible, and I'm gonna break down different scriptures that are about these plants in the Bible from the beginning of time.

I hope that this speaks to your heart, especially this holiday season!

You are known and loved by the God who created all things who is in all things who has provided for you and will forever provide for you. He is preparing a place in heaven for you. I hope that you know that you are loved and you are provided for in His creation!
