Is balance even possible?

We’re all striving for balance (it’s actually one of my favorite essential oils) but.... is it possible?!!!!?????

My husband and I recently met with our current and past scholarship recipients, many of whom are pre-med or now doctors, and I wanted them to know that I have a very balanced approach to taking care of ourselves. I have never been anti medicine, because I am pro-plant medicine. When given the right tools, tools that don’t clog up and bog down the systems of the body, I really think the body can serve us in a way that is very different. 

Balance between natural solutions and modern medicine?

Balance between using an oil for everything and never using natural solutions?

Balance between living naturally and being over the top about everything being 'bad'!?

Balance in eating healthy and indulging?

Balance in working out and rest days?

Balance in living 'healthy' and YOLO?!

I think so many things we have as tools can be gifts to us.  We can be much more wise somewhere in the middle. Maybe you’re struggling to find the balance.

Whether it’s your meal planning, your weight loss, your time management, or your rest.. I want to encourage you in all these ways to sit and dig into what is really your belief system? Figure out what is really important to you, not the gurus on social media who may be pulling you in so many opposing directions?

Are you more of a wellness hybrid (Like an 80/20 mindset)? 

What is your goal? If you’re working towards a goal, then absolutely stick to your goal and work towards it with 90-95% of your effort. 

What is your timeline? If your goal is in a certain timeframe, maybe you have to be more focused, 90-95% focus.
